Human trafficking is a major issue in the U.S. that must be addressed and ultimately stopped. It affects more than 26,000 people in the U.S. alone. Surprisingly, many in our country aren’t aware of the serious problem we have.
The average age a teen enters the sex trade in the U.S. is 12 to 14 years old. Many victims are runaway girls who were sexually abused as children. Major cities including Dallas, San Francisco, Sacramento, Calif. and Los Angeles have some of the highest human trafficking rates in the nation according to the FBI. Between 14,500 and 17,500 people are trafficked into the U.S. each year, some come from the foster care, these children have no say in the matter, they are being used as if they were nothing more than a commodity, a sex commodity, this must be stopped,HELP.
There are several facilities around the nation that reach out to these children as they age out of the foster care system, one of those facilities,The 127.org is a place where these children can go and father their education in preparation to go into the real world. Mr. and Mrs. Stevie Ray Hansen the founders of the http://www.the127.org/ facility, we depend on donations to run the facility and we deeply appreciate any consideration you would give, thank you so much.
